Stay and Win this Summer
Every year we’re blown away by the amazing images we see taken in and around The Camp and Lake Hawea and we’ve been working on ways to make sure we capture these images and memories as we can.
So this Summer, come stay at The Camp, share your holiday snaps with us and go in the draw to win the cost of your trip back (conditions apply-see below).
There are three categories available:
- The quintessential camping experience shot - capturing the essence of camping or glamping at The Camp.
- The best overall scenery shot - taken on or near The Camp that showcases our stunning location.
- The best Hawea and Wanaka surrounds shot - What summarizes our region to you.
Open to guests only. Watch out for our local creative collaboration opportunity coming soon… for photographers, videographers, bloggers and influencers.

Terms and Conditions:
- Entry photos will be shared throughout the Summer on The Camp Facebook and Instagram channels. Please include your social media handle/URL in your entry so we can tag you.
- Finalists for each category will be announced on 3rd May 2021 and shared via social media channels.
- The winner for each category will be announced two weeks later and the winner will be judged by the owners and Camp team, taking into account social media likes for each photo.
- The decision of the owners is final.
- The cost of the trip back is valued up to $500 and is for the cost of the accommodation booked by the person entering the competition and does not include other friends or family member bookings.
- Offensive or indecent photos will not be included. Please ensure you have the permission of the people in the photo submitted before entering. The Camp takes no responsibility for this but will remove photos if complaints are made, making the entry null and void.
