The Office is The Camp’s information hub for all you need to know about The Camp and surrounds, from tours to local fishing spots! Our fantastic team is also an excellent source of local tips so whether you’re a foodie or adventurer they spill the beans on all the best spots to visit.

The Office is the main point of contact with The Camp’s team of dedicated staff. If we can make your stay more comfortable, efficient or memorable please feel welcome to come to talk with us. We offer a range of additional hire services and stock extras like linen, utensils cutlery and more.

We know that escaping nowdays means you still take your phone. The Camp also offers guest 100mb free WIFI, throughout The Camp.

Please be aware that you are in the country not the city so our internet is not super fast. Trees, mountains and stormy weather can affect the coverage so you might need to move around a bit to get the perfect coverage. If you need more than 30 minutes free internet then you can purchase more on-line or get a top up card from the office.

The Camp’s shared kitchens are more than a cooking stop; meet and make friends, share your culinary skills or find a good read at our Camp book swap corner.

We’ve got the basics covered with stovetops, ovens, microwaves, fridges and freezers.

Kitchen packs are available for hire, for 2/4 people (include cutlery, cups and plates) and dishwashing packs (detergent, dish cloth & t-towel) are also available to purchase from the office.

Outdoor BBQs with gas supplied are available for guest use and are located outside near the kitchen.

The Camp’s bathroom facilities are your standard campground setup ablution block with men’s and women’s toilets facilities and changing spaces.

The showers are “eco” gravity fed showers and there is also the portacom which has high pressure gas showers.

Need a hairdryers? These are available from the office.

During our peak periods (summer) we provide additional toilet facilities in the form of port-a-loos and port-a-showers. We encourage as many people as possible to use these during the peak times so that our system doesn’t go into shock.

The laundry has coin operated washing machines and dryers. Washing powder is available from the office as well as $2 coins.

Linen is available for hire. Please enquire at the office.

The clothes line is right behind cabin 1. You can purchase pegs from the office.

Recycling is really important to us so please can you use the recycle bins provided and sort your rubbish accordingly.

We have Rock Gas bottle swap at The Camp. Please take your gas bottles to the office to get them swapped over.

We have a dump station at The Camp for our guests to use. If you are not staying at The Camp please check in at the office on arrival and pay $10 before dumping your waste. Thank you.

There is a boat ramp just outside The Camp. To use this service you just need to pay $5 or get a season pass from QLDC for $50/year
