Lake Hāwea is one of New Zealand’s most beautiful and magical locations. Imagine waking to birdsong as the sun touches the mountain peaks in the distance — it doesn’t get much better than that.

Please note: we don’t line-mark our unpowered sites. You’re welcome to pick your own spot in a grassy space you love, or let us help you find the perfect place to settle in.

Our sites are suitable for tents or unpowered vans, and we welcome individuals and groups.

Maximum 10 people per tent site
Full access to shared communal facilities, including bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry

Tent Site Seasonal Rates

01 October until – 01 May: $25 per night, per adult. Extra Adult $25/night. Children (5-15 years) $10/night. Under 5 years, free.

01 May – 30 September: $20 per night, per adult. Extra Adult $20/night. Children (5-15 years) $10/night. Under 5 years, free.

Summer Holidays Bookings

For our repeat guests bookings for the following Christmas and New Year period must be made prior to March 31 after your stay this season.

For NEW guests, please call or email us AFTER 1 April to book for the coming Christmas and New Year period.
