Long-Term Accommodation

The Camp has long-term accommodation options available between Waitangi weekend and 20 December for those looking to live and work in the region. Long-term is defined as longer than one month. Powered & Unpowered Sites

Wake to the sound of birdsong each day with the sun touching the peaks of the mountains in the distance. It doesn’t get much better.

  • Sites are either for a tent or campervan/ caravan
  • Full access to shared communal facilities – bathrooms, kitchen and laundry

Cabins

A traditional favourite for many campers, these cabins are a great option for those seeking a basic, yet private sleeping solution. We have 10 cabins, varying in configuration (typically a double, single and bunk bed).

  • All linen provided: pillows, fitted and top sheet, duvet and towels
  • Sleeps 5/6 people
  • Chair and tables inside with cape cod chairs on the veranda
  • Each cabin has its own mini fridge
  • All sites have access to shared facilities including bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry.

Waitoa

Available for a maximum of 2 months. Located 5 mins drive away from The Camp, Waitoa is in Hawea township. This fantastic lakefront holiday house is great all year round for large groups and families and can accommodate groups of up to 10 people. You really will feel like you’ve made the great escape on the large treetop deck with BBQ.
